Your retreat location is nestled high atop a mountain amidst a working cattle ranch outfitted with a luxury guest log cabin, in between Rock Creek and Osoyoos, BC.

ONE HOUR DRIVE - pick up and drop off shuttle included

TWO HOUR DRIVE - pick up and drop off shuttle included

THREE AND A HALF HOUR DRIVE - no pick up option, BUT, its a nice drive if you want to rent a car. Or a 5.5hr drive from Seattle.

 

All participants are responsible for their own airfare.

7-8am : Morning Mobility

8-9am : Coffee + Breakfast

10am-1pm : Warm up and Flex/Handstand Class

1-2pm : Lunch

2-4pm : Free Time

4-7pm : Activity Time (Horseback Riding, Aerial lesson/play time, Hike, Lake Adventure, etc)

7-8pm : Dinner

9pm : Cowboy Midnight & Campfire under the stars

GUNNAR FIELD

Gunnar Field is a contortion and hand-balancing coach based in the USA, he has been teaching contortion for well over a decade.

 

Gunnar teaches Mongolian contortion techniques infused with his own flair and influenced by his past training in gymnastics and ballet. Gunnar began training contortion in Minneapolis, MN, coming from gymnastics and having a natural inclination towards flexibility he fell in love with the art immediately. He went to study contortion Ulaanbaatar Mongolia and trained under the guidance of Nargama Baatar. He furthered his training in China at the Beijing international school of acrobatics and arts. He has performed around the USA, Thailand & China.

 

Using his 30 years of accumulated knowledge of body movement and mechanics he has taken a somewhat different approach to teaching the art of contortion.

JENN BRUYER

Jenn enjoys the good life in the beautiful Anarchist Mountain area of British Columbia where she lives with her partner, horses, dogs, goats, ducks, and chickens. She is a multidisciplinary performance artist, choreographer, and coach. She has entertained audiences and guided students around the world including over 30 US states, China, Italy, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Austria, Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico since 2008.

 

Jenn is excited to share her love of the incredibly unique area she calls home! After many exciting and fulfilling years of life on the road she knew it would take a very special place to convince her to stay. With its high desert sage brush vistas and unbridled wildness she knew she had found the right place the first time she drove up the winding road that leads out of Canada’s pristine wine country above the postcard perfect Lake Osoyoos.
